Hey blogspherites 🙂
I hope you had a colourful Holi. For my ecumenical friends, Holi is a festival celebrated in India, at the approach of vernal equinox, on the full moon. On this day, friends and foes, old and young, rich and poor, participate in a colossal carnival of colours. People smear dry colour called ‘gulal’ on each others faces and even flick coloured water filled balloons. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil, a day to forgive, forget and reconcile.
This painting is an abstract artwork in oil. I painted random circles and joined them with strokes in different colors. After completing about two third of the canvas, it started making some sense to me.
Feel free to tell me what you see in it.
Size of canvas: 9 by 12
