It feels oddly satisfying when you finish a sketch that you have been meaning to finish for quite sometime. What do you think about it??
Hey everyone 🙂
This painting was an unintended consequence of a novice attempt at water colours. I was trying to paint a water colour abstract, and ended up drawing a face in its obscurity. I kinda like this style, you ll get to see more of it. 🙂
I really want to know how you feel about this. Please like the post, and share it with everyone you lovve. You can even follow the blog to see more of my work. 🙂
I simply love the way charcoal enlivens a black and white sketch. The bold intrepid strokes of charcoal never fail to surprise you. This sketch was initially done with 2B and 4B, then I thought of using charcoal. Unfortunately, I dont have the pictures of the way it looked before..:(
This one was clicked after highlighting the dark tones with charcoal stick. Give your opinion in the comments box and do share the blog with friends and family, if you like what you see….:)
Here’s another portrait of an old man, sketched with charcoal and 4B pencil on A3 drawing sheet. I dont usually draw a grid first and sketch within its limits. I sketch free-hand, starting with rough horizontal lines to mark the positions of eyes, nose and lips. In this sketch also. I have started with eyes and the glasses. And moved on to the rest of the face.
I hope you all like it.
Please give your suggestions, and let me know what you think of it.
